Cake

Pam hummed as she walked through her house. Her hair was down in a mess of waves. It never did want to curl or be straight naturally. She gave up on it hours ago. It just didn't want to do anything she wanted. Pam found herself in a good mood none the less. She had the day off to just relax.
"Should I go out?" She mused to herself. Being a single 30 something, she probably should. Take the night and have a good time at a bar or club. But she had food in the fridge and was on the fence of being in a noisy place for a few hours. "Maybe just a book," she thought as she picked up a bottle from the fridge. She had several juices, and tea in her fridge. Did she want the cactus juice or vegetable juice?
She jolted as she saw her kitchen light up in a bright flash. She turned to see Luce standing in her kitchen.
"I'm not on my period right now," Pam felt a bit of stress as she hoped her period wouldn't start today.
"I know," Luce nodded. "I made a lot of cake today and wanted to know if you wanted some." He held up a cake tin. "Almost all of my other clients are on diets right now." Luce rolled his eyes in annoyance.
Pam smiled as she placed the container on the table. "Well, I'm not on a diet, so I'm all game for cake. What kind of cake did you make? Devil's food?" Pam smirked as she grabbed a paper plate.
Luce laughed. "Nah. That one is too easy to make." He placed the tin on the table and unlatched it. The scent wofted off the cake before the lid was off.
Pam felt her mouth watering as she stared at the carrot cake. "It smells great!" Pam complimented.
"I'm glad, now let's hope it tastes as good as it looks." Luce stated as Pam grabbed a butter knife and two forks.
"I can't believe none of the other girls  wanted this!" Pam cut a slice off and gave it to Luce on a plate and then got a piece for herself. "Isn't one a teenager?"
"Susanna's mom is making a big dinner, so she doesn't want to spoil her appetite for dinner." Luce explained.
"Oh, are her parents working things out?" Pam asked.
Luce shrugged. "That relationship is fried. But hopefully they can get on friendly terms for Susanna's sake."
"It's a struggle," Pam hummed as she took a bite of the cake. "You're such a good cook though."
Luce smiled as he dug into his cake. "I've had centuries of practice."
"And it's paid off!" Pam waved her fork at him. "I'm amazed chiefs don't summon you to bestow your skills upon them."
"Well, they just don't know of me. But with the way things are, it looks like I'll be know as the demon who serves women on their periods."
"That's what happens when your summoning circle is on pads." Pam nodded.
"And menstrual cups now," Luce shook his head.
"Really? They put patterns on those?" Pam perked up with interest.
"Some. I had a client last week with one." Luce rolled his eyes. "She was really cranky."
"Maybe she just needs a bite of your cake? It's making me pretty happy." Pam smiled.
"Doubt it. She was upset and cranky because she couldn't have sex with some guy she was going on a date with. My presence didn't help at all."

Hiya!

Hiya! Welcome to Luce and Pam. This is going to be where I post my webcomic about Luce and Pam. The title I came up with a few minutes ago is The Demon Server, but that might change. I'm planning on updating the blog once a month.
A few scenes with the characters have been posted to my blog, Galaxy of Tales, but I'll be posting those here as well soon so you don't have to jump back and forth.
